The impending snowstorm in the Nation’s capital could hamper the Penguins travel plans, or force the cancellation of a game against Washington Capitals.

The Penguins are scheduled to play on at the Verizon Center in Washington on Sunday at 12:35. The team can’t travel earlier to beat the storm because they host the Vancouver Canucks at CONSOL Energy center at 12:30 on Saturday. Pittsburgh is scheduled to depart for Washington following the game.

Weather, boxing and the Academy Awards have all been reasons that games have been moved. Click here to see the complete list of rescheduled Penguins games.
