The Montreal Canadiens gave a stirring tribute to their beloved goaltender, Ken Dryden, who died just before this season started.
Dryden’s brilliant career started on March 14, 1971 at the Pittsburgh Civic Arena, when he made his debut for the Montreal Canadiens against the Pittsburgh Penguins. He stopped 35 of 36 shots, and the Canadiens won the game, 5-1.
