Former Pittsburgh Hornets’ player Parker MacDonald dead at 84

Parker MacDonald, a center for the 1967 Calder Cup Champion Pittsburgh Hornets, has died. The former NHL regular, who played the majority of his career in the Original Six era, passed yesterday at the age of 84 in Connecticut. Remembering the Hornets, and the Banner

February 3, 2001 -The Pittsburgh Penguins minor-league affilaiate, The Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins, played a tribute game at the Mellon Arena against the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks.
